MoreThanAJob: Selected Projects Under the Call for Sub-Grants in Palestine!

The international evaluation committee of the MoreThanAJob project has officially selected the 10 project proposals that will be sub-granted in the partner countries. The projects share the public-private cooperation and partnership as added value for the development and delivery of welfare services promoting the social and labor inclusion of vulnerable people.

 

Following the qualitative evaluation and the interviews carried out with the applicant organizations, the sub-granted proposals in Palestine are:

 

  • Orjuwan Project; Fostering The Economic Empowerment of Fresh Female Graduates (From The Marginalized Areas) & Preparing them to Enroll in the Labor Market submitted by Partners for Sustainable Development PSD.

The project aims at empowering 50 Palestinian youth through professional programs in the field of graphic design and digital marketing fostering their capacities of self-employment, providing networking opportunities and encouraging their entrepreneurship.

 

  • Economic Empowerment of Poor Women from Less Fortunate Families submitted by Civil Society of Nablus Governorate (CSNG).

 

The project aims at empowering women from various disadvantaged backgrounds who financially support their families by making homemade products or other domestic activities. To achieve this aim, they will be involved in training programs and activities on how to make their homemade products financially rewarding and having an economic return.
