MoreThanAJob Participated in the ENI-CBC-MED Projects - Synergies Meeting

26/04/2020

Exchange experience, knowledge and best practices with other social ENI CBC MED projects - Another important step is to stay in contact with the projects of the same priority.

This online event was precious to make a strategic brainstorming among the projects of the priorities A.3.1 and A.3.2 and to capitalize and to exchange experiences, knowledge, best practices gained in the first months of the projects. It was a good opportunity also to find together solutions to face the COVID-19 emergency.

This meeting was following the first cluster activity which was launched in October 2019 in Rome, to foster the Cluster approach.

The cluster activity aims to develop and improve synergies between the projects, disseminate ideas, identify solutions, share knowledge and best practices among the projects and on the territories.

Besides the aims just mentioned above, this period adds the load of the COVID-19; so the cluster can usefully work as think tanks for identifying specific problems affecting the project implementation, as well as for identifying and sharing solutions.

On COVID-19 we have a twofold purpose:

a) working on problems and solutions related to implementation (working online rather than in presence, re-organizing the work-plan so as to favor the open distance activities and postpone the ones necessarily in the field, etc.);

b) Identifying, if relevant and appropriate, new outputs specifically related to the fight against the epidemic.

This meeting aimed at exchanging on synergy, how to face the COVID-19 threats, as well as planning of common activities with a related calendar.

The cluster meeting was held remotely via tool Zoom with the participation of representatives of the six social projects funded under T.O.Social Inclusion and fight against poverty, (TEC-MED / HELIOS / MORETHANAJOB / INNOVAGROWOMED / RESMYLE/ MEDTOWN).

From MoreThanAJob: ANNU (Palestine, coordinator), and CESIE (Italy, partner) participated in the meeting.

The meeting addressed the following points:

1. Follow-up of the cluster works - new steps since the proposals set in October 2019.

2. Identification of problems related to the COVID-19. Internal and external problems

3. Potential and real synergies and stake-holders: analysis

3. Debate on solutions for facing the COVID-19.

4. Calendar of the following activities.
