Monitoring visit for MED-HEALTH at ANNU

On 9th April 2017, An-Najah National University, coordinator of the Erasmus + project MED-HEALTH ” Mediterranean Public Health Alliances”561748-EPP-1-2015-1-JO-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP, hosted the National Erasmus+ Office project monitoring visit in Palestine​. The office director, Dr. Nidal JAYYOUSI, and Ms. Rana A. QAIMARI and Ms Fuqha , the NEO programme officers in Palestine, was the visiting team. The event was attended by representatives of local partners.

The visit was preceded by a meeting with Dr. Mohammed Alamleh, the Vice President for Academic Affairs to strengthen the university participation in Erasmus+ projects in general and jean monnet in particular.

The visit mainly aimed at looking at the outputs and achievements of the operational objectives of the project in Palestine to‐ date, to assess progress and achievements of the project, to judge whether the project is producing the expected results, and to evaluate its visibility and sustainability potential, and at drawing out the reality of the project environment regarding how it is being implemented and the difficulties faced.

The main monitoring session was attended by all guests, during which, the project coordinator Dr.IMAD IBRIK  gave a short overview on the work plan implementation and the achieved results so far. he  presented the current status of the different work packages, where they showed that the work is going on properly and many of the project deliverables have already been satisfyingly completed. After the presentations, an open and constructive discussion has considered project phase one.

Dr.Nidal also emphasized the need to have a spirit of partnership between all parties for the success of the project , he also thanked the Project coordinator for Project success ,and the active communication among partners , and the great achievements of the project.

The meeting ended with a visit summary and some recommendations.
